Bijan Mortazavi, the Iranian singer and composer, made headlines upon his return to his homeland at Imam Khomeini Airport. Mortazavi, who had recently announced his absence from Iran, has now confirmed his presence in the country with images of himself at the airport. In his live session, he told his fans that he would soon share more images of his activities in Iran.
Return to Homeland Amid Cultural Changes
Bijan Mortazavi's return comes at a time when several other artists have also returned to Iran in recent months. For example, "Ghaisar" (Binesh Bolour), one of the famous pop singers, and Mohsen Namjoo, a singer and composer of fusion music, returned to Iran in June and September of this year, respectively. Seyed Abbas Salehi, the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, has spoken in interviews about positive changes and new perspectives towards Iranians abroad and referred to the approval of the "Law for the Support of Iranians Abroad."

The Song of Love and the Memory of the Children of Minab
Mortazavi, who recently announced the creation of a musical piece for the martyr children of the Shajareh Tayebeh School in Minab, said about this work: "These days I have been judged a lot, but I preferred to remain silent. Amid all these words, one thing does not change for me; my heart is with those who have suffered, my heart is with those whose voices are no longer heard." He created this piece in memory of the children of Minab and the martyrs of the homeland, with lyrics by Babak Sahraei. He also emphasized the importance of life and peace, stating: "No war, no hatred; children have the right to live."
Despite the confirmation of Mortazavi's return, no specific details about his plans after arriving in Iran and how he will continue his artistic activities have been published yet. This return could mark the beginning of a new chapter in his artistic life, and we hope he can convey his voice to his audience.
