Acting Experience and the Narrative of Betrayal
Ali Moradi spoke about his role in this episode, saying: "Acting in this work was very important to me. Peyman is an innocent person who goes to prison due to a frame-up and ultimately discovers his brother's betrayal. This betrayal not only harms Peyman but also affects the fate of his homeland." Moradi also pointed out the similarities between Peyman's character and the realities of society, adding: "I have lived among such people and have seen many examples of them."
Moradi emphasized the importance of the story of "Suspect," describing it as a 45-minute work with a suitable rhythm and good decoupage, stating: "This story is narrated against the backdrop of war and is not technically and artistically comparable to weak works." He expressed hope that television would take greater advantage of the potentials of artists like Amir Abili and provide more opportunities for their activities.
Consequences of Betrayal and Trust
Ali Moradi further noted that after watching this episode, the audience should think more about the concepts of trust and suspicion. He said: "In the story, betrayal occurs that initially affects the family and then reaches the land. Those who do not show mercy to their family cannot be loyal to their homeland and soil. These two issues are interconnected in the story and show that betrayal of family can have more serious consequences."
Moradi also highlighted the importance of producing works like "Cypress, White, Red," stating: "These types of works not only narrate fresh stories but also provide an opportunity to introduce new talents to the audience. Correct stories and true narratives of past and present events in society must be created."
