Best-selling cars in the market have recently faced significant price changes; some models have increased to unprecedented levels. In this context, domestic automakers' request for a 55% price increase has heightened concerns about the future of the car market.

Price records at Iran Khodro

In the Iran Khodro product market, the price of the dual-fuel Sorena Plus has increased by 596 million tomans since the beginning of October and has reached 2 billion and 970 million tomans. Additionally, the price of the 6-speed Dena Plus is reported to be 3 billion and 130 million tomans today.

Price increases are not limited to Iran Khodro products. The price of the automatic Peugeot 207 has risen by 570 million tomans in the past week, reaching 4 billion and 350 million tomans. Meanwhile, the price of the Tara manual has also increased by 835 million tomans in the past month, reaching 3 billion and 100 million tomans.

Challenges in the assembled car market

In the assembled car sector, issues such as parts supply limitations, import barriers, and currency shortages have maintained upward pressure on this market. Currently, the price of the zero-kilometer Quick S has increased by 50 million tomans over the past seven days, reaching 1 billion and 720 million tomans. The Saina S is also traded in the free market at 1 billion and 752 million tomans, having risen by 326 million tomans in the past month.

Other cars have also faced price increases; for example, the price of the Haima S7 Pro has increased by 1 billion and 600 million tomans since the beginning of October, reaching 7 billion and 200 million tomans. Additionally, the price of the zero-kilometer Jack J4 has risen by 170 million tomans in the past week, reaching 3 billion and 500 million tomans.

Future predictions for the car market

Given the continuation of the current conditions, the car market still lacks any signals of a decrease, and it seems that the wave of price increases will remain in November. The price of the Tiggo 8 Pro Max has risen by 800 million tomans in the past three days, reaching 12 billion tomans, and the price of the seven-seater Fidyli Prestige is reported to be 7 billion and 780 million tomans today.

Ultimately, considering these price increases and the lack of a positive outlook, buyers will face serious challenges, and the car market has become one of the hot topics in society these days.
