Ali Zeyni Vand, spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior, addressed the issue of harsh and controversial slogans raised in nighttime gatherings during a press conference dedicated to examining the status of these gatherings. He emphasized that these slogans do not represent all individuals present at the gatherings and referred to various details and dimensions of this issue.

Slogans do not represent all people

Zeyni Vand stated: "At certain times, for various reasons, positions or slogans are given that we do not consider to be the slogans of all individuals present at the gatherings." He also pointed out that investigations have shown that many of the individuals present in the squares and streets do not support these harsh slogans, and in fact, only a few individuals are engaged with these slogans.

The impact of harsh slogans on social cohesion

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior also spoke about the negative impacts of these slogans on social cohesion, stating: "Harsh slogans that may sometimes affect cohesion need to be examined carefully." He introduced this issue as a challenge for society and added that special attention should be given to it to prevent social tensions.

Zeyni Vand further referred to the characteristics of nighttime gatherings, stating that these gatherings usually form due to specific conditions and cannot simply be attributed to all people. He urged officials and security institutions to address these issues with greater vigilance and to strive to create opportunities for dialogue and understanding instead of escalating tensions.

The necessity of a deep understanding of people's demands

He concluded by emphasizing that to better understand the needs and demands of the people, it is necessary to engage in dialogue and exchange of ideas instead of focusing on harsh slogans. This approach can help create a calmer and more constructive atmosphere in society and reduce tensions.
