Ali Farahadi, spokesperson for the Ministry of Education, regarding the distribution of textbooks at the beginning of the current school year said: "So far, 164 million textbooks have been distributed nationwide and 99 percent of students have received their textbooks." These statements were made following concerns that some students have not yet received their books.

Challenges in Textbook Distribution

Farahadi further explained that the distribution of books has taken place in approximately 125,000 public, private, and special schools for students with special needs. He added: "In the tenth grade, due to orders being placed in the last days of September, the delivery of books may take longer."

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Education emphasized that students who have not received their books for any reason can use the electronic version of the books. According to him, the PDF files of all textbooks are available on the website of the Research and Educational Planning Organization.

Distribution of School Milk and Special Conditions

Farahadi also referred to the distribution of milk in schools and said: "This year, for the first time, the directive regarding school milk was communicated to the provinces before the start of the school year." He added: Based on the decisions of the Market Regulation Headquarters, the selection of suppliers and the determination of milk prices in each province is done in collaboration with the provincial governors.

This official advised families to follow news related to students from official sources and to avoid rumors and incorrect news on social media. In response to questions regarding the issuance of identity plates for students, he denied this issue and said: "The publication of such news can cause concern for families."

Status of Foreign Students

Farahadi stated that the final number of foreign students for the current school year is not yet clear, but based on past statistics, the number of foreign students has been reported to be over 250,000. He emphasized that foreign students who have come for registration have been registered within the relevant framework.

In conclusion, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Education emphasized that decisions regarding the operation of schools in war zones or special areas will be made regionally, and currently, there are problems only in some areas of Hormozgan province.
