For example, the city of Rashtkhvar in Khorasan Razavi province was introduced as the cleanest city in the country with an index of 16. Ferdows in South Khorasan and Nikshahr in Sistan and Baluchestan also ranked next with indices of 20.
The average air quality in Tehran has been recorded as unhealthy for sensitive groups, while Khuzestan has had an acceptable average air quality. Additionally, the average air quality in Mashhad for sensitive groups has also been reported as unhealthy.
In conclusion, it is important to continue efforts to reduce pollution and improve air quality in the country, especially considering the negative effects on public health and the quality of life of citizens.
