Abdulmajid Rahmani, the CEO of the Welfare, Services, and Social Participation Organization of Tehran Municipality, announced the establishment of the Rehabilitation and Social Integration Office, stating that this initiative aims to monitor the family situation of beneficiaries and identify their needs.
New Role of the Rehabilitation Office
Rahmani explained that the Rehabilitation and Social Integration Office will operate alongside the Social Work and Psychology Office within the new structure of the organization. This office is tasked with maintaining continuous communication with beneficiaries and recording and reviewing information related to their family situation. This close and ongoing communication will help better identify the needs of beneficiaries and their families.

Attention to the Situation of Beneficiaries' Children
In this process, the situation of beneficiaries' children, including their educational conditions and family needs, will also be examined. This initiative is aimed at providing appropriate and targeted support. Rahmani emphasized that the goal is for the organization's services not to be limited to the individual present at the center, and if there is a need, their family should also be included in the social support process.
The CEO of the Welfare, Services, and Social Participation Organization highlighted the importance of more precise identification of beneficiaries and their families, stating: "This initiative provides the groundwork for more effective planning to address needs, increase the effectiveness of support services, and prevent individuals from returning to the cycle of social harms."
Rahmani, referring to the existing challenges in providing social services, stressed the necessity of cooperation between various institutions and social organizations. He believes that only through collaboration and coordination can desirable results be achieved in supporting beneficiaries and their families. This new approach aims to create an effective support network that not only assists the individual beneficiary but also pays special attention to their families.
