Today, Friday, West Azerbaijan, East Azerbaijan, Ardabil, Kurdistan, the heights of Zanjan, Qazvin, Alborz, Tehran, Gilan, Mazandaran, and the regions of Fars, Hormozgan, Kerman, and Sistan and Baluchestan will face rainfall, thunder, and strong temporary winds. These conditions may lead to flooding, river overflow, and damage to agriculture.

Expansion of Danger on Saturday

Starting tomorrow, Saturday, similar conditions are predicted for four additional provinces beyond the aforementioned 14. Golestan, Lorestan, Khuzestan, and Isfahan will be added to the list of at-risk provinces. The Weather Organization has advised citizens to exercise greater caution when leaving their homes during these days, especially during peak rainfall hours, and to postpone non-essential travel if possible. Additionally, heavy rainfall in some areas is expected to lead to sudden and dangerous floods that could endanger lives and property.

According to the forecasts, fellow citizens in these 18 provinces should be prepared to face adverse weather conditions and be aware of the risk of falling trees and breaking branches due to strong winds. It is also essential for people to follow subsequent notifications from the Weather Organization and local authorities to prevent unforeseen incidents.
