The Trump administration once again drew attention with its bizarre statements about aliens and unidentified flying objects (UFOs). These remarks, which sound more like science fiction stories, come from the former President of the United States. In his recent discussions, Trump has expressed opinions about Air Force pilots' sightings and has revisited the topic of aliens.
Testimony of Air Force Pilots
Trump stated in one of his talks that he spoke with 5 or 6 Air Force pilots who claim to have seen unidentified flying objects (UFOs) moving at unusual speeds in the sky. These statements come at a time when he is known for his political jokes and ambiguous remarks. In fact, this topic seems to be so intriguing for him that he appears to use it as a source of entertainment and appeal for his supporters.

Trump's Ambiguous and Comedic Remarks
In response to a question about the existence of aliens or the possibility of extraterrestrial civilizations visiting Earth, Trump did not give a direct answer. Instead, he resorted to ambiguous and sometimes humorous statements. For example, on June 12, 2019, in an interview with ABC, he referred to topics related to extraterrestrial life and indirectly mentioned the existence of aliens. Meanwhile, his jokes about serious topics led many people to view these statements as a form of political comedy.
On February 19, 2026, in a conversation with reporters on Air Force One, Trump once again addressed this topic and seems to be seeking public attention. He also mentioned space travel and the possibility of life in galaxies during a meeting with Artemis-2 mission astronauts at the White House on April 29, 2026, which clearly indicates his interest in these topics.
These statements and positions of Trump, while considered a form of entertainment, reflect his desire to create a space for dialogue about scientific and fictional issues. He knows well that such statements can attract media attention and public opinion, and thus, he uses it as a communication technique to maintain his popularity.
Overall, Trump's statements about aliens and extraterrestrial life have always faced a lot of skepticism and are often examined as an aspect of his personality. This type of statement, alongside other political and social aspects of him, represents a multidimensional face of a politician who seeks to create engaging and noteworthy content for his supporters.
