The sports complexes of Hazrat Zahra (S) Parkway have been made available to citizens free of charge. Seyyed Mohammad Nazem Razavi, CEO of the Cultural Spaces Development Company of Tehran Municipality, explained that this complex was built in the areas of 17 and 18 in Tehran with the aim of creating and developing cultural, sports, service, and social infrastructures.
Development of Sports Infrastructure
Nazem Razavi, referring to the special attention given to the development of sports infrastructure in this complex, announced that several enclosed artificial grass fields, a cycling path, and bike rental stations have been established along Hazrat Zahra (S) Parkway. These facilities have been made available to citizens free of charge to enrich the leisure time of young people and adolescents in neighboring areas.
Cycling and Skating Opportunities
The CEO of the Cultural Spaces Development Company emphasized that the company's approach is not to generate revenue from public sports facilities, but rather to provide the necessary capacities to increase public participation in sports activities and enhance social vitality. He also announced the activation of bike rental stations in the parkway and added: Soon, with the identification of a specialized contractor, these stations will be activated for bike rentals at a low cost for the residents.
Nazem Razavi also mentioned the efforts to activate the skating rink at Hazrat Zahra (S) Parkway and added that this complex is considered one of the standard rinks for skating, and efforts will be made to provide the necessary conditions for both training and use by enthusiasts, as well as for professional athletes and members of the national skating team.
Finally, Nazem Razavi noted that the development of public sports spaces alongside the cultural, social, and service capacities of Hazrat Zahra (S) Parkway aims to enhance the quality of life, increase social vitality, and create equal opportunities for citizens to utilize urban facilities.
