The spokesperson for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps further referred to the conditions of the recent war, stating: "America, by bringing a collective mechanism to the region and deploying troops to the Persian Gulf, thought that the Iranian nation would surrender like some other countries, but this assumption quickly turned into a major mistake." He added: "The Iranian nation has achieved courage and national security through the blessed blood of the martyrs and has stood firm against threats."
The Strategic Defeat of America
General Mohibi continued to discuss the victories of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the recent war, clarifying: "Despite the enemy's extensive resources and support, it suffered a significant defeat, and even military and political experts in America and Europe do not deny this defeat." He described two levels of Iran's victories: first, Iran succeeded in preventing America from achieving its goals, and second, the slogan of security for oil flow and freedom of navigation for America also faced failure.
General Mohibi emphasized the control of the Strait of Hormuz by the Guards, stating: "America could not even open the Strait of Hormuz for a single day, which demonstrates the power and will of the Islamic Republic of Iran." He also referred to the status of America's oil reserves, saying: "The oil reserves of this country have decreased, and control of the Strait of Hormuz is currently in the hands of the Islamic Republic of Iran."
Finally, the spokesperson for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps pointed to Iran's strategic victories in the region, stating: "The military presence of America in the region is no longer regarded as a security factor, and its bases have become a source of insecurity for host countries." He noted the relocation of American forces, saying: "This situation indicates that the Islamic Republic of Iran has achieved significant victories in the recent war."
