The Harmony complex in Shahr-e Rey has experienced tough days following enemy missile attacks, but now, with the commencement of reinforcement operations, it is coming back to life. The presence of construction materials and the sound of workers on-site indicate the dynamism of this project, which is rapidly progressing.
Status of Block F and Municipality Efforts
This complex, which includes 8 blocks and 240 residential units, was hit by a missile on March 4, damaging 4 of its blocks. Hamed Mehrizi, the mayor of District 5 in Region 20, explains that Block F was severely damaged, and all 4 floors needed complete reconstruction. Experts began the reconstruction operations after technical assessments, and now this block is gradually taking on a new shape.

Workers arrive at the site early every day and, with great effort and energy, are in the process of reconstructing the damaged units. Mehrizi states: "The operations have progressed from the rough construction and implementation of the new structure to wall construction and finishing work, and it is expected that the units on the fifth to eighth floors will soon be handed over to the owners."
Life Returns to the Harmony Complex
With the return of residents from the first to fourth floors, the spirit of life has been reestablished in Block F. The Tehran Municipality has assisted residents by allocating funds as housing deposits and rent, ensuring they have no concerns about shelter during the reconstruction period. Additionally, the selection of suitable contractors for the reconstruction has expedited the process and gained the trust of the residents.
Yousef Shoghi, one of the residents of the complex, comments on the reconstruction process: "The municipality's efforts for the reconstruction of this complex have been very valuable. There is no longer any sign of destruction, and various parts of the complex have been renovated." Jalal Hasani, another resident of Block F, recalls that his wife was martyred on the day of the attack and expresses satisfaction with the speed and quality of the reconstruction. He highlights the importance of the municipality's efforts during this crisis, stating that these actions are being carried out selflessly.
Currently, 20 units in the Harmony complex have been reinforced, and with the changes to the buildings' facades, hope and life have returned to this area.
