The press conference for the film 'Uncle of the Kids', directed by Ahmad Darvishali Pour, became one of the busiest and most lively events on the third day of the International Festival of Children's and Youth Films. This conference attracted many young journalists and official media with the presence of popular figures such as Daryoush Faraziyai (Uncle Pourang) and Naimeh Nazemdoost, filling the hall with excitement and enthusiasm.

A narrative of life and a fictional story

The film 'Uncle of the Kids' has a dual narrative, dedicating half of its story to a part of Uncle Pourang's life and memories. Alongside this real narrative, the second part of the film depicts a fictional story about Uncle Pourang's proposal, infused with humor. This combination has managed to establish a good connection with the audience and create a special appeal for them.

A new experience with 'Vorkana'

After the screening of 'Uncle of the Kids', journalists were drawn to the press conference for the film 'Vorkana'. This film, directed by Seyed Meysam Sajadi, was created using artificial intelligence technology and has been introduced as a different work at the festival. Although the use of artificial intelligence in this dimension has its challenges, 'Vorkana' faced only one or two minor errors that are technically noteworthy.

This animated film depicts a world with three different realms and introduces characters throughout the narrative, some of whom are inspired by real individuals. One of the characters refers to a man who was present at nuclear facilities during the war and showcases a unique spirit through playing the setar.

Ultimately, 'Vorkana' is considered a promising animation that offers a new experience in animated cinema. Despite its unique composition, sometimes the images appear a bit strange due to the nature of artificial intelligence, which has also led to a humorous aspect. At the end of the conference, Seyed Meysam Sajadi, the director of this work, announced that a second part of 'Vorkana' is also in the works.

These two films represent diversity and innovation in Iranian cinema for children and adolescents, and it is hoped that with a good reception from the audience, a new path will be opened in this field.
