Ali Malahi-Pak, the captain of a fishing boat from Bandar Kolahi Minab, went to sea early on Wednesday, October 22, with his children and a group of other fishermen to try to catch shrimp. This maritime journey, which began with the hope of earning a lawful livelihood, turned into a bitter and painful experience.
A Sudden Incident at Sea
The boat of this group reached the port of Sirik, about 18 miles from the shore of Bandarān village, when it was suddenly attacked by a drone. This attack resulted in injuries to two of Ali Malahi-Pak's children, Mohammad and Omar. Mohammad was transferred to the hospital with deep injuries to his chest and abdomen, while Omar and Ibrahim also received treatment.
