A 20-year-old girl who left her home in Tehran in the first half of Shahrivar this year and did not return was arrested by the police after two weeks of searching. This girl, along with a young boy, had decided to run away to force their families to accept their marriage.
The Disappearance Story
Regarding this incident, the girl's father filed a complaint at the ninth branch of the Tehran Criminal Court, stating that his daughter had not returned home. Initially, the police suggested the possibility of kidnapping, but after two weeks without contact from the girl, this hypothesis was ruled out.

New Clues
Investigations continued until the officers found clues indicating that the missing girl had made a purchase using her bank card at a shop in one of the eastern counties of the country. After identifying this shop, a team of officers went to that county with judicial coordination and interviewed the shop owner.
Subsequently, the shop's surveillance footage was reviewed, revealing that a man had made a purchase using the young girl's bank card. Officers identified this individual, went to his home two days ago, and arrested him. During the search of the house, the missing girl was also found.
Interview with the Young Boy
This young boy stated during the interrogation: "I was working in a shop in Tehran, and the young girl lived in the same area with her family. Gradually, we became friends, and after a few months, we decided to get married. When I told my family about it, they opposed it, and I went to propose alone, but her family did not accept due to my young age."
He added: "We decided to run away to force our families to allow us to marry. After she left her house, we went to our city, and when my family found out about the situation, they kicked us out of the house."
This young girl also confirmed her beloved's statements, saying that their goal was marriage. Azim Sohrabi, the investigator at the ninth branch of the Tehran Criminal Court, confirmed this news, stating: "These two will be transferred from the eastern part of the country to the Tehran police for further investigation, and the young girl will be returned to her family."
