The exchange rate at the exchange center in Iran today, Tuesday, October 6, 2026, experienced different changes. The selling price of the US dollar remittance reached 176,810 tomans, indicating an increase of 528 tomans compared to yesterday.
Changes in dollar and other currencies
According to the announced rates, the buying price of the dollar remittance today is 175,219 tomans. Yesterday, the selling rate of the dollar was 176,281 tomans and its buying rate was 174,695 tomans. This increase in the dollar price, alongside fluctuations in the currency market, indicates the complex economic conditions in the country.

In the euro market, the selling rate today reached 198,223 tomans, showing a decrease of 157 tomans compared to yesterday. The buying rate of the euro is also announced as 196,440 tomans. This decrease in the euro price comes while other currencies continue to rise in price.
Fluctuations of other currencies
The price of the UAE dirham also increased today, with its selling rate reaching 48,144 tomans, which is about 140 tomans higher than the rate of 48,004 tomans yesterday. The buying rate of the dirham today is 47,711 tomans.
In the Russian ruble market, the selling rate today is announced as 2,082 tomans, indicating a decrease of 30 tomans compared to yesterday. The buying rate of the ruble is also set at 2,063 tomans.
The price of the Chinese yuan also increased today, reaching 26,368 tomans. The selling rate of the yuan yesterday was 26,289 tomans, thus the price of this currency has increased by about 80 tomans. The buying rate of the yuan is also announced as 26,131 tomans.
In the Indian rupee market, the selling rate today is 1,836 tomans, which shows an increase of about 5 tomans compared to the rate of 1,831 tomans yesterday. The buying rate of the rupee is also set at 1,820 tomans.
The selling rate of one hundred Japanese yen today increased by 282 tomans to reach 111,917 tomans. The buying rate of one hundred yen is also announced as 110,910 tomans.
One thousand South Korean won today is priced at 131,752 tomans, which shows an increase of about 510 tomans compared to the rate of 131,242 tomans yesterday. The buying rate of one thousand won is also announced as 130,566 tomans.
An examination of today's rates at the exchange center shows that the dollar price in the most important currency transactions has increased and reached 176,810 tomans.
