The second edition of the Iran Theater Research Award aims to identify and honor research works in the field of theater, providing researchers and writers with another opportunity to submit their research works. The deadline for submissions to this event has been extended until October 7, 2023.

The thematic axes of this award include contemporary history of theater in Iran, management in theater, audience studies, theater festivals and cultural policies, examination of various types of theater, applied-educational theater, future studies of theater, dramatic literature, war and social resilience, as well as social-political crises in Iranian theater.
