Tomorrow, Wednesday, October 7th, the process of charging the government's welfare vouchers for the first group will begin. Heads of households whose national ID numbers end in 0, 1, and 2, along with households covered by the Imam Khomeini Relief Foundation, the Welfare Organization, and the armed forces, will receive the credit for October.
Ambiguity in credit increase
While tomorrow is the turn for charging vouchers for a group of beneficiaries, the promise of increasing the credit for some income deciles remains unclear. No official announcement has yet been made to replace the one million tomans with a new amount.

Users who have not yet used their September credit have only a few days to purchase essential items on the voucher table, including rice, oil, meat, poultry, and other foodstuffs, before the end of October. The credit for each period is only one month, and any remaining amounts do not carry over to the next month.
Economic managers and promises of credit increase
The main controversy surrounding tomorrow's charge is the issue of "increasing the amount." Since the beginning of December last year, the amount of this welfare aid has been set at one million tomans, but contradictory and scattered statements from economic managers have created hopes among beneficiaries.
Ahmad Meidari, the Minister of Cooperatives, Labor, and Social Welfare, and Seyed Hamid PourMohammadi, the head of the Planning and Budget Organization, had previously sent signals regarding an increase in credit for some income deciles. According to these reports, an amount between 300,000 to 500,000 tomans was supposed to be added to the current credit. The Minister of Cooperatives had even announced earlier that this increase would begin gradually from October 7th.
However, only one day remains until the promised date, and no official document, circular, or clear announcement regarding the implementation of this increase, the final amount for each decile, and the exact list of beneficiaries has been published.
Currently, there is a deep gap between managerial statements and operational execution. This situation has left beneficiaries in a state of anticipation, raising the question of whether we will see the new amount charged tomorrow or if the voucher credits will remain unchanged at one million tomans as before.
The answer to this question will only be revealed with the charging of household heads' accounts in the next 24 hours.
