Today, Tuesday, October 27, after two days of significant decline, the Tehran Stock Exchange returned to an upward trajectory, and the main indices of the stock market turned green. The overall index of the Tehran Stock Exchange reached 8,253,000 units at the end of today's trading, with an increase of 73,280 units. This growth indicates renewed investor optimism and increased demand in the market.
Simultaneous Growth of Indices
The simultaneous growth of the overall index and the equal-weighted index shows that today's positive trading activities were not limited to a few large companies, and the stocks of smaller companies also faced price increases overall. The equal-weighted index also rose by about 33,000 units, standing at 2,222,000 units. These promising movements give investors hope that price growth will be more sustainable.

Number of Transactions and Influential Symbols
During today's trading on the Tehran Stock Exchange, 903,547 transactions were recorded, and the market transaction value reached about 32.9 trillion tomans. Among the influential symbols on the overall index in today's transactions were Fars, Foulad, Tabaan, Tamin, Tose'e, and Parsian. These symbols clearly played a significant role in the market's upward trend.
On the other side of the capital market, the Iran Farabourse also ended today's trading with an increase in the overall index. The overall index of the Farabourse rose by 1,212 units to reach 66,257 units. The number of transactions in the Farabourse today reached 660,586. The symbols Koghar, Arya, Marun, Mapna, Fajahan, Sharanal, and Arfa were also among the influential symbols on the overall index of the Farabourse.
The return of the stock and Farabourse indices to positive territory after two days of heavy decline may indicate an increase in demand at current price levels. However, a one-day rise alone is not sufficient to conclude about the end of the market correction trend. Given that the capital market has experienced significant fluctuations in recent weeks, the continuation of the upward trend depends on factors such as the state of systemic risks, political and economic developments, the release of company performance reports, and the sustainability of demand.
Ultimately, today's trading can be assessed as a positive return after two days of heavy decline; however, more evidence is still needed to judge the stabilization of the Tehran Stock Exchange's upward trend. Investors and analysts must carefully observe future developments to see whether this growth can be sustained or not.
