Seyed Reza Abbas Abadi announced the start of the direct supply plan for oil and tires in Tehran, detailing this important program. According to him, this plan will be implemented on a trial basis from November at 300 points in the capital, aiming to regulate the market and facilitate consumers' access to these goods at specified prices.

The Role of Unions and Cooperatives in Supply

Abbas Abadi explained that the Tire Union and related cooperatives will collaborate to provide direct supply of oil and tires to end consumers. He noted the legal limitations of the union in conducting commercial activities, stating that the supply and distribution of goods will be carried out through cooperatives, with the union overseeing the execution and distribution process.

Details of Product Supply and Distribution

The head of the Tire and Oil Commission of the Iran Chamber of Guilds added that tires will be sourced from domestic manufacturers and oil from four main factories, which will be provided to cooperatives. The cooperatives will deliver the products through their distribution network to members with valid business licenses to be sold in retail units.

He emphasized that the retail units receiving the goods will display the products for customers, noting that the selling price of each product will be calculated based on the price set by the factory for each type and size of tire or oil. Thus, consumers can confidently procure the products they need with assurance of quality and price.

Cooperatives' Profit and Final Price

Abbas Abadi also referred to the distribution costs incurred by cooperatives, stating that the cooperative will receive a reasonable and limited profit for the supply and delivery of goods, initially estimated at around three percent. Therefore, the final selling price will be determined by including this small share, helping consumers access the goods they need at a more reasonable price.

This plan aims to regulate the oil and tire market and enable consumers to access their essential goods with greater confidence and ease. The launch of this plan in November promises positive changes in the market for these goods and could lead to price reductions and improved service quality.
