Taxis in the capital can now conduct technical inspections and visual checks of dual-fuel tanks for the first time for free. This decision is aimed at supporting taxi drivers in Tehran and reducing maintenance costs for the fleet, as well as enhancing safety and the quality of public transport services.

Cooperation Agreement between the Taxi Organization and the Technical Inspection Center

In this regard, an agreement has been signed between the Taxi Organization and the Technical Inspection Center of Tehran vehicles. According to this agreement, the first visit of taxis to technical inspection centers for conducting technical inspections and the first visual check of dual-fuel tanks (CNG) will be conducted for free. This change allows taxi drivers to enhance the safety and health of their fleet without worrying about additional costs.

Objectives of the Plan and Its Consequences

This plan aims to facilitate taxi drivers' access to technical services, enhance the health and safety of the fleet, reduce vehicle emissions, and help achieve the goals of Tehran city towards clean air and sustainable transport. Especially in the current situation where air pollution is considered one of the serious challenges of Tehran, this initiative can have positive impacts on reducing pollutants and improving the air quality of the capital.

The Management and Supervision Organization of Tehran's Taxi Services has announced that these services will be provided in line with the supportive programs of this organization for the taxi fleet in selected technical inspection centers. The goal of this plan, in addition to improving service quality, is to increase the satisfaction of taxi drivers and passengers.

Taxi drivers can benefit from these services by visiting selected technical inspection centers, thus taking effective steps towards improving public transport conditions and enhancing the safety of their vehicles. This initiative can also lead to the creation of a new culture regarding the maintenance and care of vehicles among taxi drivers.
