Sohrab Bakhtiari-Zadeh, the young head coach of Esteghlal, has high hopes for attracting Youssef Mazraeh, a young and talented player, in the mid-season transfer window. This optimism comes while the officials of Foolad are strongly opposed to this transfer, and Esteghlal's transfer window remains closed.
Challenges in attracting Youssef Mazraeh
In recent weeks, discussions have arisen regarding the transfer of Youssef Mazraeh to Esteghlal. Bakhtiari-Zadeh, as the head coach, has great faith in this player's abilities and considers him one of the main options to strengthen his team. However, Hamid Motahari, the head coach of Foolad, and the officials of this club have no intention of issuing Youssef's release letter. This issue has led to Bakhtiari-Zadeh facing many challenges in attracting this player.

Esteghlal's need for reinforcement in the second half of the season
Sohrab Bakhtiari-Zadeh has not complained about his team's problems in various areas and the closure of the transfer window so far. However, he is well aware that his team has deficiencies in several positions. On the other hand, considering the tight schedule of matches in the second half of the season and the onset of winter, there is also a possibility of injuries to current players. These factors have led Bakhtiari-Zadeh to think about attracting players who can help the team in difficult situations.
Attention to youth and the future of Esteghlal
Sohrab Bakhtiari-Zadeh has also given opportunities to younger players and has fielded them. Players like Ismail Gholizadeh and Amir Mohammad Razaghinia are among the youth who have integrated well into Esteghlal's lineup during his coaching period. However, he knows well that to compete at higher levels, he needs more experienced and higher-quality players.
Bakhtiari-Zadeh has discussed the team's needs with the club's managers in several sessions. However, the status of the CEO and the chairman of the board of Esteghlal, Tajernia, is still unclear, and this issue could affect the club's future decisions. Ultimately, it remains to be seen whether Sohrab Bakhtiari-Zadeh can bring Youssef Mazraeh to Esteghlal and where this transfer will lead.
