In the eleventh week of the Persian Gulf Pro League, Persepolis managed to defeat Nassaji Mazandaran 1-0 in a crucial and challenging match, returning to the top of the competition table. This victory came despite the red-clad team facing numerous challenges in their gameplay and receiving significant criticism regarding their performance.
Vital Victory in Difficult Conditions
In this match, Persepolis could not fully dominate the game in the first half, and Nassaji, taking advantage of their home ground and the support of their fans, put more pressure on the red team. However, in the second half, while Nassaji was seeking to score the winning goal, Persepolis managed to find the net. Nevertheless, instead of continuing their attacking play and trying to increase the lead, the red team focused more on preserving the result and wasting time.

Concerns Arising from Defensive Approach
This approach quickly faced objections from fans and even members of the Nassaji team, and some Persepolis fans were also concerned about the quality of their team's play. While Persepolis boasts the best attack in the league with 19 goals scored, many questions have arisen regarding the quality of their gameplay and their defensive approach after scoring a goal. This issue could lead to problems for the team in the coming weeks during critical moments.
The head coach of Persepolis must pay special attention to the fact that continuing this style of play could have unpleasant consequences. In football, merely achieving results is not enough; the quality of play must also be maintained so that the team can remain a title contender as the season progresses. Given the tight schedule and tough competitions ahead, Persepolis must quickly address its weaknesses and utilize its attacking strategies in matches.
Despite securing three vital points from this match, Persepolis still needs to work on the quality and boldness of its attack to prevent potential crises in the future. Nevertheless, Persepolis fans hope that their team will return to its good days with more effort and determination.
