Retirees and pensioners of Social Security, who are recognized as the economic pillars of society, have entered the second half of the year while still waiting to receive their unpaid salaries from May. The Social Security Organization has announced in a statement that the process of paying September salaries has ended, and the payslips for this month will be available online starting next week, but there is no news about the unpaid salaries from May.

End of September salary payments

The payment of September salaries for 5 million and 300 thousand retirees and pensioners of Social Security began on the 29th of September and ended on the 1st of October. Meanwhile, retirees are still unaware of receiving their unpaid salaries from May. The September salaries can be accessed and viewed through the online services system at es.tamin.ir and the "My Security" application. This process has been implemented to facilitate access to the legal information of retirees.

Unpaid salaries and concerns

Concerns about the status of unpaid salaries for retirees and pensioners of Social Security have significantly increased. The unpaid salaries for the month of Farvardin for this group were paid with a several-month delay alongside their salaries for Mordad. Now, with the end of September salary payments, retirees are eagerly awaiting the receipt of their unpaid salaries from May, which seems to have turned into a normal routine of delays in payments.

In the meantime, retirees are worried that repeated delays in salary payments will negatively impact their daily lives. Many of these individuals, due to their old age and specific economic conditions, depend on these salaries, and any delay can impose additional financial pressures on them.

This situation not only negatively affects the lives of retirees but also reflects the challenges of the Social Security system and the financial problems of this organization. Given the economic changes and rising living costs, it is expected that officials will address this issue as soon as possible and create the conditions for timely salary payments to retirees.

It seems that the story of unpaid salaries will continue, and there is a need for serious and immediate measures in this regard. Accordingly, retirees and pensioners of Social Security must continue to wait patiently for their unpaid salaries.
