Homayoun stated: "This truth cannot be denied. Iran is important to the world, and this war in Iran has taken on global dimensions. In such circumstances, we must look at the realities and learn from them." He emphasized that one should not overlook Iran's power and authority, telling his critics: "If you do not want to accept these truths, that's fine. But I live with the realities."
