Seyyed Mohammad Rahim Mortazavi, the mayor of Region 13, announced the start of 92 neighborhood development projects in East Tehran. These projects, aimed at enhancing the quality of streets, improving urban spaces, and increasing safety and vitality in neighborhoods, are being carried out with a budget of 174 billion tomans.
Neighborhood Development for Improving Quality of Life
Mortazavi stated: "The goal of these projects is to create a suitable and safe environment for citizens so they can live in a healthy and vibrant atmosphere. These projects include the rehabilitation of streets, increasing green spaces, and creating recreational and cultural facilities that will contribute to improving the quality of life in the region."

Lighting and Safety Projects in Various Areas
Alongside these projects, Mahdi Rahimi, the mayor of District 10 of Region 1, also announced the installation of 60 projectors and a 7-meter tall light tower in Aseman Park. These measures aim to enhance lighting, safety, and environmental quality in the Suhank neighborhood.
In Region 2, Reza Mansourian, the mayor of District 5, reported on the holding of an earthquake and fire drill at the gas pressure reduction station on Azadi Street. This drill was conducted to increase preparedness and coordination among operational forces in emergency situations.
In this context, Seyyed Mohammad Mousavi, the mayor of Region 4, introduced the "Mehr Qalam" plan, which is implemented to create social vitality and strengthen national identity among students. This plan includes cultural, social, and educational programs that pay special attention to human resources.
Additionally, Mahdi Akhlsanaye, the mayor of Region 10, announced the installation of 70 urban-art elements and the execution of 180,000 square meters of mural painting to enhance the visual quality of neighborhoods. These actions will help in establishing the identity of the neighborhoods.
In Region 11, Sajjad Zarif, the mayor of District 1, also reported on the installation of traffic safety equipment on the streets leading to the excavation on Novell Lushato Street. These measures are being taken to ensure the safety of the streets.
Finally, Mohammad Reza Daneshju, the head of District 1 in Region 12, referred to the problems of Berlin Alley and the concerns of local businesses, placing the rehabilitation and beautification of the street facade on the urban management agenda.
