Mahdi Chamran, on the sidelines of the four hundred thirty-ninth session of the Tehran City Council, spoke with reporters about the importance of implementing the special lane plan for motorcycles. He stated that organizing motorcyclists in Tehran is essential, saying: "Motorcyclists do not obey the law and unfortunately get harmed. They often ride against traffic or carry heavy loads, and I have taken pictures of such cases several times."
Challenges in Organizing Motorcyclists
Chamran pointed out the high number of motorcyclists in Tehran, which reaches two million, stating: "When the green light comes on, a large parade of motorcyclists forms, and this clearly indicates the need for organization." He emphasized that they hope the special motorcycle lane plan will be implemented soon and noted: "In the comprehensive traffic plan, which had some shortcomings, motorcycles were not addressed, and we insisted that this issue be considered before presenting the plan."

Audit Reports and Reconstructions
In this session, Chamran also referred to the review of audit reports from six collections and said: "The issue of gardens is also on today's agenda." Regarding the council elections, he mentioned that the proposals submitted to the Supreme Coordination Council (Sham) have not yet received a response and added: "Until a confirmed victory is declared, no historical date will be announced. It is still unclear what plan will be implemented."
Chamran explained about the reconstruction of war and the forecast for density in reconstructions: "It was decided that the latest reports would be submitted to the Article 5 Commission every three months, and a statistical report has been provided. It was also decided that this report would be submitted in writing to both the Article 5 Commission and the council." He also emphasized the need to create a database of reconstructions and the density provided to buildings.
