Saudi Arabia, facing a reduction in interceptor missile stocks, has asked its allies to assist in countering missile and drone attacks from Yemen. However, there are currently no signs of direct military support for the country.
Shortage of Defense Stocks and Request for Help
According to reports, Saudi Arabia's missile defense systems are running low due to ongoing clashes with Houthi rebels. Riyadh has requested assistance from France, Britain, Pakistan, and Egypt to strengthen its air defenses and protect against missile and drone attacks from the Houthis and other Iran-backed groups.

Meanwhile, the United States, which is the main arms supplier to Saudi Arabia, is also facing a significant reduction in interceptor missile stocks. Saudi officials have not commented on this issue, but a Saudi source has stated that Riyadh will not normalize relations even if it receives help from Israel without resolving the Palestinian issue.
Condition for Normalizing Relations with Israel
Saudi Arabia has repeatedly emphasized that normalizing relations with Israel is only possible if an irreversible path towards the establishment of an independent Palestinian state is formed. This condition is strongly opposed by Benjamin Netanyahu's government in Israel.
Saudi Arabia has also described the recent clashes with the Houthis as a serious crisis and stressed the need for international support to counter these threats. In this regard, Saudi officials are trying to mobilize international allies for joint action against the Houthis, while diplomatic efforts to de-escalate tensions in Yemen are also underway.
Saudi Arabia is currently in a very difficult situation and needs a secure route for crude oil sales as well as military support. However, there is currently no clear path to achieve these two goals.
