Saeed Jalili, representative of the Supreme Leader in the Supreme National Security Council, referring to global and regional developments and the positioning of international relations at a historical turning point, emphasized that the incorrect and unjust trends that emerged after World War II are now facing serious challenges.

The Role of the Iranian Nation in Global Challenges

Jalili stated: "Many of these trends were fundamentally incorrect and unjust from the beginning, but now even the designers of these relations have come to the conclusion that these trends can no longer continue as before. The Iranian nation has been at the forefront of recognizing and challenging these trends."

He also stated: "Today, the legitimacy of the Iranian nation is recognized in the world, and even in cities in Europe and America, the same demands are being heard. The free people of the world are shouting these demands." Jalili referred to the pressures and hostile actions against the Iranian nation over the past decades and said that the enemy has always stood against the freedom-seeking and independence-seeking of the Iranian nation.

Military Threats and America's Failures

Jalili added: "For years, the threat was posed that maximum pressure was a precursor to military options. However, America's military threats did not yield the expected results." He also noted that this enmity was not limited to one political party in America, as both Republicans and Democrats have pursued this approach at different times.

He emphasized that today, hegemonic relations are approaching their point of decline, adding: "The excessive and aggressive behaviors towards allies are also becoming apparent. These developments indicate that previous relations are facing serious challenges." Jalili also referred to Iran's influence in global equations, stating that countries that were hostile to the Iranian nation now acknowledge Iran's influence.

Finally, Jalili explained the concept of concrete guarantees in international relations, stating: "The opposing party must provide concrete guarantees for fulfilling its commitments. The question is, why did America consider itself so powerful and think it could evade its commitments?"
