Saeed Jalili, representative of the Supreme Leader in the Supreme National Security Council, emphasized the importance and value of the continuous movement of the people in the square during a meeting with a group of activists in public squares and gatherings. He regarded this phenomenon as not only political but also social and civilizational, with deep religious and cultural roots.

People's Experiences in the Square

On Sunday, October 18, Jalili, in a meeting with public square activists, while listening to their opinions and concerns, explained various aspects of this movement and the requirements for its continuation. He referred to his experiences during trips to cities and said: "At times, even in the middle of the night, I have witnessed people gathering with flags next to each other at small checkpoints. These scenes demonstrate the sincerity and will of the people, even if there is no camera to capture them."

Jalili considered this movement reminiscent of the words of the Quran, which says: "To Him ascend good words, and righteous deeds raise them." He emphasized that this family presence in the political arena is a great opportunity to create social bonds and strengthen national identity.

Global Surprise at the Movement of the People of Iran

Saeed Jalili further referred to global reactions to this movement and said: "Even those who have a significant cultural distance from us have praised this movement. Especially in meetings that Mr. Putin has had with our officials, he has been astonished by this movement. This point indicates that the people's presence in the square has profound impacts on society and even on the international stage."

He also pointed out the importance of understanding the social and cultural dimensions of this movement and said: "Those who work in the field of sociology should pay more attention to this phenomenon and analyze it correctly. This phenomenon can provide a platform for addressing local issues and participating in solving people's problems."

Jalili emphasized that public squares can serve as spaces for gathering and expressing people's issues, stressing the necessity of utilizing the capacities of this movement. He said: "Each neighborhood and city should design different methods for the presence and participation of the people, and this issue should be prioritized."

In conclusion, Jalili urged religious scholars to pay attention to this phenomenon and consider it an opportunity for positive social activities. He emphasized the necessity of continuing and strengthening this movement and said: "The presence of the people in the square should be at a civilizational level and not just at the level of daily political games."
