Qais al-Khazali, Secretary-General of the Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq movement in Iraq, recently emphasized the importance of the resistance project in his speech, stating that this project has not only liberated the country from the occupiers but can also contribute to its construction and development. He explained that during the occupation, resistance manifested itself militarily and has now transformed into political resistance in a new phase of developments.

Resistance and the Liberation of Iraq

Al-Khazali, referring to the past achievements of the resistance in Iraq, emphasized that this movement is capable of helping the country grow and develop in the future as well. He said: "The resistance not only saved Iraq from the clutches of the occupiers but can also act as a constructive force in the political and economic arena." These statements come at a time when Iraq is currently facing numerous challenges in economic, social, and political fields.

Shift from Military to Political Approach

Qais al-Khazali referred to the shift in his movement's approach from military resistance to political resistance, adding: "We are now at a stage where we must strive to build the country through political and diplomatic means. This does not mean the end of resistance, but rather a change in its form." He reminded Iraqi officials that to advance and develop the country, they must pay attention to the needs of the people and make good use of internal capacities.

Al-Khazali further emphasized the necessity of solidarity and cooperation among various political and social groups in Iraq, stating: "Only through unity and cooperation can we overcome challenges and create a bright future for Iraq." This perspective not only helps strengthen national unity but can also lead to attracting foreign investments and developing the country's infrastructure.

Ultimately, the Secretary-General of the Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq movement in Iraq stressed that under the current circumstances, Iraq needs strong leadership and national determination to move towards progress and prosperity. He added: "The resistance will always be in our hearts, and with renewed spirit, we will strive for the development of the country." These words reflect the strong determination and will of the resistance groups in Iraq to improve the country's situation and provide better conditions for the people.
