Seyed Siros Pourmousavi, the new head coach of Naft Abadan, spoke about the high spirit of the players and their efforts to distance themselves from the danger zone in the Premier League table after his team's victory in their first match. This victory against Aluminum Arak marks a hopeful start for Pourmousavi and the yellow-clad Abadan team.
Players' Motivation and Spirit as the Key to Victory
Pourmousavi stated that the main credit for this victory belongs to the players, adding: "The players showed a lot of motivation on the field, and their intensity in running was truly exemplary. We did not have enough time to practice before this game, and we mostly had to work on mental and psychological issues." He also mentioned the quality of the Aluminum Arak team, saying: "This team is among the quality teams in the Premier League, and honestly, our victory came at the expense of a good team. This loss does not diminish their values."

Challenges and Future Plans
Pourmousavi further referred to the financial challenges that Naft Industry is facing, saying: "I was also one of the options for this team before the season started, but events occurred, and it was not meant to be that I came here. Currently, I was not the club's first choice, and the managers had negotiated with several other coaches; in fact, I was the third option." He added that the most important issue in this situation is to resolve financial problems so that players can take the field with a calm mind.
He also emphasized: "The club has promised to resolve financial issues as soon as possible. The managers need to be alongside the players, and the players should feel supported." Pourmousavi pointed out that currently, there is no possibility of signing new players, and the team's focus should be on improving the tactical and physical condition of the players.
He confidently stated that there is no worry about relegation, saying: "We are not thinking about relegation. I have told the boys that we must fight until the thirty-fourth week and we cannot afford to be discouraged until the last week. The fans expect us to perform, and we must strive to make them happy."
Pourmousavi also commented on the upcoming match in Tabriz against Tractor's fans, saying: "This game is not easy for any team, but we also have our motivations, and we want to earn points there. Without a doubt, we will not be a handicapped team and will strive with all our might to achieve a favorable result."
