On the morning of Saturday, September 21, the new Pearl fruit and vegetable market was inaugurated in the Dowlatabad neighborhood with the presence of Davood Ghodrzi, Deputy of Urban Services of Tehran Municipality, and Mehdi Bakhtiari-Zadeh, Head of the Organization for the Management of Fruit and Vegetable Markets of Tehran Municipality. This market has been established to improve citizens' access to fresh and high-quality fruit and vegetables.

Economic Prosperity and Job Creation

The opening of this market, in addition to meeting the daily needs of citizens, can help boost the economy in the area and create jobs for the residents of Dowlatabad. Given the geographical location of this market and its easy access, it is expected that a large number of residents as well as travelers will visit it daily.

Davood Ghodrzi, at the inauguration ceremony, emphasized the importance of establishing such markets, stating: "We strive to improve citizens' access to fresh and high-quality products by creating and developing fruit and vegetable markets in various parts of the city and to strengthen the local economy."

Mehdi Bakhtiari-Zadeh also referred to the future plans of the Organization for the Management of Fruit and Vegetable Markets during the ceremony, stating: "We intend to establish additional new markets based on the needs of the area and, in collaboration with local farmers, provide fresh and high-quality products to citizens."

It seems that this new market could serve as a turning point in improving the economic and social conditions of the Dowlatabad area. However, the question that remains is whether these actions are sufficient to address the macroeconomic issues?
