Challenges in Fuel Supply and Increased Queues
The new refueling restrictions have not only increased waiting times at gas stations but have also further limited the fuel supply route for individuals with high consumption. This situation means that if a driver consumes all their quotas, there will be no clear way for refueling, even if they are willing to pay the free rate of 10,000 tomans.
The government's policies in managing gasoline consumption, including restricting the use of fuel cards at stations and the plan to identify emergency cards, are designed to reduce congestion at the stations. However, in practice, these restrictions have led to increased queues and frequent visits of vehicles to gas stations.
Currently, in 26 provinces of the country, the main problem remains the long queues caused by refueling restrictions. In the five provinces subject to the new plan, drivers who have exhausted their quotas will face even more restrictions, which not only increases their waiting time but also makes the need for fuel more challenging for some drivers.
