Nasrollah Abadian, the Deputy of Urban Planning and Architecture of Tehran's Mayor, in his latest statements, addressed the challenges that Tehran faces regarding parking shortages. He pointed out that in 2006, general regulations for the construction of multi-story parking lots were established, stating that despite these measures, parking shortages remain a serious issue in the capital.

Preventing Traffic Problems by Creating Incentives

Abadian is working to provide conditions and incentives for builders by holding meetings of the Article 5 Commission so that the construction of multi-story parking lots can be prioritized. He emphasized that these actions are necessary to address some of Tehran's essential parking needs. This plan will not only help reduce traffic and improve the quality of life for citizens but could also lead to economic prosperity.

The Deputy Mayor of Tehran also mentioned the positive impacts of this plan on reducing air pollution in Tehran, adding: "With the increase in the number of parking lots, we will gradually witness a reduction in traffic and ultimately an improvement in the city's air quality." These statements reflect the serious determination of the municipality to address one of the major challenges of this metropolis.

Development of Educational Spaces in the Capital

Furthermore, Nasrollah Abadian referred to the issue of educational space shortages in Tehran, stating: "According to a memorandum of understanding that has been signed, the necessary lands for the development of educational spaces will be identified. This action is designed to compensate for the shortage of educational space in Tehran."

He also discussed the implementation process of this memorandum, saying: "The exchange of educational lands within the framework of this memorandum is underway, and necessary coordination with the Ministry of Education, the municipality, and the governorate is being pursued." Abadian expressed hope that with the implementation of a three-year program, the educational space issues in Region 22 of Tehran will improve.

These programs and actions are a sign of the determination and will of city officials to improve Tehran's infrastructure and address the fundamental problems of its citizens. Given the emphasis on the importance of education and the provision of necessary spaces for it, a bright future for Tehran seems to be on the horizon.
