Hojjatoleslam wal Muslimin Mostafa Rostami on Wednesday addressed the current situation of the country and the role of the Iranian people in facing upcoming challenges at the joint meeting of cultural and student vice presidents and directors of medical sciences universities across the country. He emphasized that what is happening in Iran today is completely contrary to the enemies' expectations and predictions, stating: "The enemies of the Islamic system, through their crimes in recent wars against our country, thought they could topple the sacred Islamic Republic of Iran with these actions; however, the reality is quite different."
Selflessness and Sacrifice of the Armed Forces and the Iranian People
The head of the representative office of the Supreme Leader in universities referred to the selflessness and sacrifice of the armed forces, stating: "Our armed forces defended the integrity of the country with selflessness and sacrifice, and the dear Iranian people have also achieved countless honors by participating in the fields; so much so that they have been present in the fields for over 200 nights, demonstrating their resilience." He also referred to Western polls that indicate the failure of the dominance system against the Iranian people. He added: "Even the Americans admit that we have one of the most powerful armies in the world."

Cognitive Warfare and National Unity
Hojjatoleslam wal Muslimin Rostami also pointed to the enemy's cognitive warfare against the Islamic Republic, stating: "The enemies are trying to create division and disrupt the unity of the Iranian people through the media, but in these circumstances, an unprecedented cohesion has formed among the Iranian people." He referred to the message of the Supreme Leader, which emphasized the unity of the people, saying: "This unity should be regarded as a special blessing from God."
He continued: "The war is still not over, and we are still engaged in this arena; this confrontation will continue until the enemies leave the region. Our enemies today have plans to attack the country again and are seeking to create chaos and division within society beforehand."
In these circumstances, officials and vice presidents of universities have a very important role in countering the movements of the enemies. Rostami referred to the responsibilities of universities in protecting the security and interests of the country, stating: "You must defend the universities and academic communities against the movements of the enemies and guide the students towards the lofty goals of higher education."
He concluded with hope that the upcoming academic year would be filled with hope and success for all academic communities and emphasized belief in God and the teachings of the Holy Quran as the only solution to the country's problems. According to him, this resilience and victory of the Iranian people is based on this strategy, and this divine assistance will always accompany the believers.
