Emmanuel Macron, the President of France, in a recent interview with the American television network "ABC" explicitly stated that bombing Iran cannot lead to a change of power in the country. He emphasized that changing a government through bombing a country is not only impossible but has also been shown throughout history to yield no results.
Past Experiences
Macron further added: "I do not believe that changing power through bombing a country is possible. It is not the best option either, as it is ineffective. We have made such mistakes several times over the past decades." These remarks come at a time when in recent years, airstrikes on various countries, especially in the Middle East, have repeatedly led to deeper crises.

Nuclear Claims and Iran's Doctrine
Macron also emphasized the U.S. claims about Iran's nuclear program and stated that it is important for the international community to ensure that Iran does not acquire nuclear weapons. In this context, Kazem Jalali, Iran's ambassador to Russia, had previously emphasized in discussions with the media that the Islamic Republic of Iran, based on its defensive and security doctrine, as well as the fatwa of the martyr leader of Iran, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, has repeatedly declared that it is not seeking to acquire nuclear weapons and that Iran's nuclear program has a peaceful nature.
Meanwhile, tensions between Iran and the United States have reached a peak. On February 28, the U.S. and the Israeli regime began attacks on targets in Iran, and Iran reacted to these attacks. In mid-June, Tehran and Washington signed a memorandum of understanding to halt hostilities, but violations of this agreement by the U.S. created new problems.
Currently, the Donald Trump administration is seeking to exert maximum pressure on Iran through maritime blockade and other measures. These strategies have always been criticized, and many believe that such pressures not only fail to achieve political goals but also affect the normal lives of the Iranian people.
Humanitarian Consequences
These developments not only impact international relations but also have profound and unfortunate effects on the daily lives of people. The economic pressures resulting from sanctions and military tensions have made life more difficult for people in Iran, and many families are facing livelihood problems. In this situation, the necessity of dialogue and resolving issues through diplomacy is felt more than ever.
