Mohammad Reza Aref, the First Vice President, issued an important directive, showing special attention to the educational situation of hijab-wearing girls in Azerbaijan and requested the Ministries of Health and Education to take actions for the continued education of these students.

Appreciation for the Ministry of Science's Approach

Aref, while appreciating the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology's approach in welcoming the admission of hijab-wearing girls deprived of education in Azerbaijan, emphasized the necessity of cooperation from other ministries. He wrote on the social media platform X: "The Ministries of Health and Education and the esteemed head of Azad University can also facilitate the admission and continued education of these students by taking necessary actions."

Initial Steps by the Ministry of Science

Previously, Hossein Simayi, the Minister of Science of the Islamic Republic of Iran, announced in a video that "the doors of Iranian universities are open to the girls of Azerbaijan for education." This action is considered a positive step towards supporting the educational rights of hijab-wearing girls in this country. In fact, this announcement sends a message to Azerbaijani girls that they can benefit from educational opportunities in Iran, and in this regard, the Ministry of Science has played an important role as a key institution.

Challenges Facing Hijab-Wearing Girls

Hijab-wearing girls in Azerbaijan face numerous challenges in terms of education. Social and cultural restrictions in this country have prevented some of these girls from continuing their education. However, with this action, it seems that hope for a better life and higher education for these girls has increased significantly. This cultural dialogue between the two countries can help strengthen relations between Iran and Azerbaijan and pave the way for more cultural and scientific exchanges.

A Bright Future for Girls' Education

Given Mohammad Reza Aref's directive and the support of the Ministry of Science for this initiative, it seems that the environment for the education of hijab-wearing girls from Azerbaijan in Iran will gradually improve. This action not only benefits Azerbaijani girls but can also strengthen the relations between the two countries and lead to cultural exchanges. Additionally, this issue can serve as a model for other countries on how to eliminate educational barriers through cooperation and empathy, providing girls and women with opportunities for education and advancement.
