Mohammad Reza Aref, during a meeting with members of the Young Scholars Club, congratulated the beginning of the new academic year and expressed his hope for achieving scientific and technological advancements. He referred to the impact of imposed wars on technological progress and the role of youth in this regard, adding that the profound perspective of the martyr Imam has been very effective in this context.

The Need to Pay Attention to the Scientific Capacities of Girls

Aref emphasized the importance of utilizing the scientific capacities of the country's girls, stating that in the post-war conditions, the activities of the Young Scholars Club should be pursued more seriously. He said: "Our girls have proven their scientific capabilities, and we must make better use of their scientific potential."

He also emphasized the importance of discovering elite talents across the country and clarified that the Elite Foundation was established with this motivation and that we should seek talents even in remote villages.

Support for the Scientific Olympiad in Persian

Mohammad Reza Aref responded to the proposal of holding a scientific Olympiad for Persian speakers, saying: "The martyr leader of the revolution proposed achieving scientific authority in the world and making the Persian language scientific as a main strategy, and we must take steps in this direction." He added that the government supports the holding of the scientific Olympiad in Persian and is working to create a union of Persian-speaking countries, as many neighboring countries speak Persian.

Challenges of the Administrative System and the Need for Patience from Elites

Aref, in another part of his speech, referred to the problems of the country's administrative system and noted that although many efforts have been made to reform the administrative system, complete success has not yet been achieved in this area. He urged elites to understand the reality of this administrative system and to have patience so as not to become disillusioned.

He also advised families not to insist solely on their children's education in medical and engineering fields and highlighted the importance of humanities disciplines. Aref said: "We need cultural promotion so that families guide their children towards the fields needed by the country."

Changing the World's Perception of Iran

He continued by mentioning the conditions following the recent imposed wars, saying: "The conspiracy of Iranophobia has failed, and the world's perception of Iran is changing." He emphasized the importance of the presence of Iranian youth in international events, stating that this presence can be effective in changing people's perceptions of Iran.

Aref concluded by emphasizing that being elite is not a privilege but a commitment, stating: "The responsibility of elites has increased in the new conditions of the country, and society appreciates its scientific elites." In this session, members of the Young Scholars Club also presented a report on their activities, which included talent scouting in deprived areas and holding a scientific Olympiad in Persian.
