General Reza Talaei Nik, spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics, addressed students at a boys' vocational school in Tehran about the irreplaceable role of the people, faith in God, and national unity in guiding the country through critical moments. He emphasized that what led to the victory of the Iranian nation during the Sacred Defense and other significant historical events was the presence of the people and reliance on domestic capabilities.
Faith and Reliance on Domestic Capabilities
Talaei Nik referred to Imam Khomeini's (RA) command for popular mobilization as a prominent example of the people's role in defending the country, stating: "Before the revolution, the country had serious dependencies in many areas, but today, after 48 years of facing sanctions, the Islamic Republic of Iran has been able to stand on its own feet in many fields and meet a significant portion of its needs by relying on domestic scientists and specialists."

Development of Indigenous Capabilities and Knowledge Production
The spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense referred to the development of indigenous capabilities and said: "Today, more than a thousand types of indigenous products and services are produced in the country, and some of these products and technologies have gained export potential. These achievements are the result of investment in human resources, knowledge, experience, and national will, and demonstrate that sanctions and external pressures have not been able to halt the country's scientific and technological progress."
Talaei Nik emphasized the components of national power, including faith, unity, and reliance on indigenous knowledge, noting that the Iranian nation has shown at various times that it can stand against the pressure and threats of great powers. He also referred to the country's scientific standing and added: "The development of indigenous knowledge and scientific capacities has elevated Iran's status in scientific fields and has moved the country from lower ranks to higher positions."
This senior military official urged the new generation of students to step up their efforts in advancing the country and said: "The future power of the country depends on the scientific, skill-based, and technological capabilities of the next generation."
General Talaei Nik further referred to the recent developments and conflicts, emphasizing: "The Islamic Republic of Iran has always stressed the importance of ending conflict and establishing peace, but at the same time, it considers defending the rights, security, and interests of the country as its duty. If the opposing side accepts the conditions and legitimate rights of Iran, the path to ending the conflict will be paved."
He also stated: "The Iranian nation will not allow the rights and interests of the country to be overlooked." These remarks reflect the national determination and will that can withstand challenges and threats.
General Brigadier Talaei Nik concluded by emphasizing that Iran's national power is not limited to military equipment, and the country today possesses significant capacities in political, military, cultural, social, scientific, and technological fields. He addressed the students, saying: "You must preserve and further increase this power and continue the path of the martyrs. Continuing the path of the martyrs does not only mean military engagement, but also studying, acquiring skills, producing knowledge, innovating, and striving to solve the country's issues is part of that same path."
The main goal is the advancement of the country and the construction of a strong, independent, and advanced Iran. Military equipment and defensive power are means and tools to ensure the country's security and provide a foundation for scientific, economic, social, and cultural progress. The future of Iran must be built with the knowledge, faith, effort, and capabilities of the younger generation.
