Mohammad Mahdi Nasiri, the CEO of the Health Insurance Organization of Iran, apologized during a press conference with doctors and medical institutions for the delays in insurance payments. He stated that this delay is due to financial problems and a shortage of resources caused by rising costs and inflation.

Financial Challenges and Their Impact on Healthcare Services

Nasiri explained in this meeting that since the second half of this year, the Health Insurance Organization has faced serious financial challenges. He said: "Unfortunately, the balance between expenditures and resources has been disrupted, and we are facing a shortage of resources annually." This issue has led to delays in insurance payments to doctors and medical institutions, which can negatively impact the provision of healthcare services to patients.

Measures to Improve Financial Status

The CEO of the Health Insurance Organization also referred to the efforts made to improve the organization's financial status. He stated: "We are exploring solutions for securing sustainable financial resources so that we can make timely payments." Nasiri also emphasized that this organization is seeking to enhance the quality of services and the satisfaction of doctors and medical institutions, and he hopes that through joint cooperation, they can achieve better conditions.

In conclusion, Nasiri urged doctors and institutions to assist the organization in these difficult circumstances with their patience and cooperation. He expressed hope that with joint efforts, these financial problems would soon be resolved and everyone could perform their duties well.
