Mohammad Barzegar, a veteran of the Persepolis football team, regarding the victory of this team in the eleventh week of the Premier League against Nassaji Mazandaran said: "It was a tough game for Persepolis, but thank God we were able to secure 3 points away from home." He added: "In this match, we saw that Nassaji had completely analyzed us and did not give Persepolis players the opportunity to attack. Currently, we are at the top of the table and we must appreciate this position."
Persepolis's Scoring Challenges
Barzegar also referred to Persepolis's scoring problem in the game against Nassaji Mazandaran and said: "We had problems in scoring and the players could not perform well in the final ball. This is strange for Persepolis with so many good players, and I hope the coaching staff resolves this issue sooner, because if we cannot score in important matches, we will definitely face problems."

Hope for Amirhossein Mahmoudi's Brilliance
The Persepolis veteran continued by mentioning Amirhossein Mahmoudi, a young and talented player of the team, and said: "Amirhossein Mahmoudi's name was on the national team list for the 2026 World Cup camps, and this shows that this player can be beneficial for Persepolis. I am not in Mehdi Tartars' position and cannot say whether this player should be in the starting lineup or not, but I have no doubt that if the coaching staff gives this player more opportunities, he can definitely shine for Persepolis."
Barzegar emphasized the importance of utilizing young and talented players in the Persepolis lineup, noting: "Given the current conditions of the league and upcoming competitions, it is essential for the coaching staff to trust the youth and give them more opportunities. This not only helps in the growth and development of the players but can also lead to the success of the team."
Finally, Mohammad Barzegar expressed hope for resolving the scoring problems and making optimal use of the existing capacities in the team, stating: "Persepolis has always been one of the great and popular teams in Iran, and it must strive harder to maintain its position at the top of the table and achieve greater successes in future competitions."
