Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, emphasized the importance of the Sacred Defense culture and its impact on the country's destiny at a ceremony marking the Sacred Defense Week. Reminding of the loss of great commanders during the war, he referred to the leadership role of the martyrs in preserving and continuing this culture and said: "If it weren't for the foresight and vision of the martyr, perhaps the Sacred Defense culture would not have come to the aid of the country in this way today."
Recalling Challenges and Achievements
Qalibaf, referring to the challenges of the Sacred Defense era, including equipment shortages and lack of access to certain facilities, recalled: "In some years of the Sacred Defense, they wouldn't even sell us barbed wire, and our artillery fire wouldn't reach beyond 14-15 kilometers." He added: "This culture has brought us to a point today where we can target any location with our missiles without limitation."

Confronting Hybrid Warfare
The Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly also referred to the hybrid warfare that the country is facing and said: "Today, in hybrid warfare, economic, military, diplomatic, etc., we will never surrender, we will not shut down the country, and we will respond with strength." He emphasized that these responses have been shown to the enemy in the past and have incapacitated them in all arenas.
Qalibaf, referring to Iran's deterrent power, said: "The country has sustainable deterrent power, and we can stand against them. The enemy should know that negotiation is also a battlefield; diplomacy is not surrender, but rather the conversion of battlefield power into political achievement." He emphasized the deep cultural and religious bond of the Iranian nation, especially in the face of international pressures, noting: "Trump is facing a historical civilization and a national and religious resistance; he must know that he cannot impose his power on the Iranian nation and armed forces."
In the end, Qalibaf assured everyone that we will never surrender, and the Iranian nation will continue its path with authority and resilience against existing challenges and will not allow enemies to advance in any way.
