Baghai, the spokesperson for our Foreign Ministry, recently addressed the issue of attributing the rise in fuel prices to Iran, considering this action a sign of the U.S. administration's evasion of accepting responsibility for the consequences of military wars against Iran. He stated: "Introducing Iran as the cause of fuel price increases is merely a strategy aimed at diverting public opinion from the consequences of America's military and economic wars against the Iranian people."
Consequences of Military and Economic Wars
These remarks come at a time when Iran is facing serious challenges in energy and fuel supply due to U.S. economic and military sanctions. Baghai pointed out that wars and economic sanctions have not only impacted the daily lives of people but have also exacerbated economic and social crises, noting: "America is trying to convey that Iran is responsible for the current situation by exploiting these crises and creating tension in the global fuel market."
He also referred to the history of U.S. military aggressions against Iran, stating: "Iran has always been a victim of aggressions and has stood against them. Now, instead of accepting this reality, America is trying to obscure the signs and shift the responsibility towards Iran."
Economic Consequences for the Iranian Nation
The Foreign Ministry spokesperson stated that such accusations only lead to increased pressure on the Iranian nation, stressing: "Iran currently needs internal solidarity and support to overcome this difficult period."
Baghai emphasized that the Iranian government is working to manage economic crises by creating appropriate infrastructure and utilizing domestic resources. He said: "We are looking for an approach that relies on our internal capacities instead of depending on foreign resources. This approach can help us overcome these problems."
