Mohammad Al-Haddad stated on Thursday morning at the inauguration of the projects of the Gilan Regional Electricity Company that simultaneously with the visit of the Vice President to the province, 18 vital and infrastructural electricity projects in Gilan, with a budget of over 6,500 billion tomans, were inaugurated online and put into operation.

Importance of Development Projects

Al-Haddad emphasized that the implementation of development projects and electricity supply has not stopped even in difficult conditions of sanctions and war, adding: The Gilan Regional Electricity Company has taken an important step in strengthening energy infrastructure, enhancing the stability of the electricity network, and creating the groundwork for economic and industrial development in the province by executing these 18 projects.

Necessity of Accelerating Infrastructure Development

The CEO of Tavanir Company pointed out the importance of these projects in achieving the goals of the country's electricity industry, stating: These projects have been implemented with the aim of enhancing the infrastructural capacity of the electricity industry, increasing the reliability of the network, and responding to the growing needs of consumers, playing an effective role in the sustainable development of Gilan province.

Al-Haddad also appreciated the forward-looking action of the Gilan Regional Electricity Company in purchasing the land needed for the construction of the Shahid Mizban substation in previous years, adding: Securing land for the construction of electricity substations incurs significant costs, and timely forecasting and purchasing of land for the implementation of this project is a valuable action.

He noted the significant growth in electricity consumption in Gilan due to increased migration, stating: The construction of the Shahid Mizban substation in the center of the province's load is an innovative and intelligent action that has not only reduced the costs of constructing transmission and distribution lines but also significantly decreased the losses in the electricity network.

Al-Haddad further described the CEO of the Gilan Regional Electricity Company as a capable and experienced manager, commending the speed of the Shahid Mizban substation project and stating: This project was completed in a very appropriate time frame, which deserves appreciation.

He also expressed gratitude for the sacrifices and dedication of the law enforcement personnel, noting: The Shahid Mizban substation is named in honor of the memory and services of Shahid Arman Mizban, one of the martyrs of the law enforcement forces who attained the high rank of martyrdom while performing his duty and confronting thieves of electricity wires.
