Alireza Kazemi, the Minister of Education, during his visit to the city of Bajestan, emphasized the necessity of continuing school activities and reducing the consequences of class closures. He stated to the city's managers that in the new model for reopening schools, the conditions of each region will be examined separately, and in areas where there is no threat to students and educational staff, in-person education will be prioritized.

Management of Emergency Conditions and Use of Safe Spaces

Kazemi also referred to planning for managing emergency conditions and stated that in areas facing security threats or missile attacks, a hybrid model and the capacity of safe spaces will be used to maintain in-person communication between students and teachers. These decisions are made to minimize the damages caused by school closures and the shift to online classes. He clarified that these damages have economic, cultural, and social dimensions, and it is necessary for decisions to be made carefully and in accordance with the conditions of each region.

Planning for the Start of the Academic Year

The Minister of Education further announced the formulation of a new guideline for how schools will operate and stated that this model will be communicated to the entire country in the coming days after finalization. He also addressed rumors regarding school operations and deemed these reports baseless. In this regard, he emphasized the necessity of maintaining family calm and providing suitable conditions for the continuation of the education system.

Kazemi concluded by noting that decisions regarding school operations must consider the actual conditions of each region, ensure the safety of students and teachers, and prevent interruptions in the educational process. He stressed that these decisions not only impact the quality of education but also affect the morale and mental health of students.
