Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of Iran, stated in a gathering of officials from East Azerbaijan province that America is making every effort to shape social protests in Iran. He emphasized that the government will not allow Washington to achieve what he called its "malicious intent."
Social Cohesion Against Pressures
Pezeshkian, referring to the consequences of war and external pressures, claimed that contrary to the enemies' expectations, Iranian society has gained greater cohesion during the recent conflicts. He said: "Despite all the events that the enemy has orchestrated for us, we have become more united within the country." These remarks reflect the government's determination to confront the social and economic challenges facing the country.

Economic and Social Challenges
The President of the Fourteenth Government also referred to economic and social problems, stating: "The government, while reforming existing structures, must ensure that its decisions do not lead to increased public discontent." He expressed that they are trying to address people's concerns and added: "The enemy wants to create division."
Pezeshkian emphasized that managing a situation where both economic problems are resolved and social discontent does not arise is not an easy task. He mentioned gasoline, electricity, gas, housing, the payment system, and health per capita as sectors that need reforms, and one of his main priorities is to prevent the halt of production units.
In part of his remarks, Pezeshkian also referred to the difficulty of securing the necessary gasoline for the country, saying: "Iran should normally purchase about 12 billion dollars worth of gasoline, but this figure has been limited to about two to three billion dollars." He added: "They have closed the way for us, and even if we have money, we cannot buy gasoline."
Future Outlook
Pezeshkian concluded his remarks by emphasizing the need to utilize the capacities of all regions of the country, stating that the abilities of managers and active forces in various provinces are no less than those of officials based in Tehran. These statements reflect the government's effort to synergize and utilize all the country's resources to overcome the current conditions.
Given the challenges ahead, it seems that the government is planning for structural reforms and crisis management. In this regard, emphasizing social cohesion and cooperation among different regions of the country can be considered a key strategy for improving social and economic conditions.
