Maryam Ardabili, head of the Women's and Family Center of Tehran Municipality and advisor to the mayor, announced the start of a series of drills for preparedness against crises in women's infrastructure. Importance of Urban Resilience

Urban resilience refers to a city's ability to face crises and return to normalcy afterward. Given the climatic and social conditions prevailing in Tehran, strengthening resilience in women's infrastructure is of special importance. Ardabili added: "We must help create a resilient city against crises by identifying and strengthening local capabilities."

These drills aim to establish a strong communication network among local actors so that there is a capacity for quick and effective response in emergencies. Ardabili also emphasized the need for cooperation and collaboration among all institutions and organizations related to women.

Considering the important role of women in crisis management and their capabilities, these drills are seen as a positive step towards enhancing the preparedness level of Tehran city against crises.
