Mahdi Pir Salehi, head of the Food and Drug Organization, announced the holding of a meeting of the ambassadors of BRICS member countries at the 11th International Pharmaceutical Exhibition. Pir Salehi emphasized the current situation, stating: "Health specialists, despite political crises, banking sanctions, and reduced budget for preferential currency for drugs, are making every effort to cope with rising production costs and prices." He added that these challenges have led to an increase in drug prices and require international cooperation to resolve.
