Mahdi Chamran, the head of the Tehran City Council, announced changes in the rates of school bus services on the sidelines of the four hundred and fortieth meeting of the City Council. He stated that these changes are necessary due to problems arising in providing these services, and efforts will be made to approve the necessary amendments in today's council meeting.
Challenges in Securing Vehicles for School Services
Chamran further added that each company was required to introduce 20 vehicles for school services, and this action was to be completed by September 6. However, if approved by the council, this deadline will be extended to November. He also pointed out the challenges faced by companies in securing this number of vehicles and noted that only four companies have the capability to provide these vehicles. Therefore, it may be suggested that the number of required vehicles be reduced.
